How do I clear my browser cache and cookies?

Clearing your browser’s cache and cookies can help troubleshoot network or browser-related issues. However, be aware that doing so may result in the loss of:

  • Saved passwords

  • Address bar autocomplete data

  • Auto-login saved information

Desktop Browsers

  • Windows

Google Chrome:

  1. Open Chrome.

  2. Click on "Customize and Control" (three vertical dots in the top right).

  3. Select "History," then click "History" again.

  4. Click "Clear browsing data."

  5. Set the time range to "All Time."

  6. Select "Cookies and other site data" and "Cached images and files."

  7. Click "Clear data" and restart Chrome.

Firefox:

  1. Click the menu icon (three bars in the top right) and select "Options."

  2. Choose "Privacy & Security."

  3. Under "Cookies and Site Data," click "Clear Data."

  4. Select "Cookies and Site Data" and "Cached Web Content," then click "Clear."

  5. Click "Clear Now" to confirm.

  6. Restart Firefox.

Microsoft Edge:

  1. Open Edge.

  2. Click the settings icon (three horizontal dots in the top right) and select "Settings."

  3. Select "Privacy, Search, and Services," then click "Choose what to clear."

  4. Choose "All Time" as the time range.

  5. Select "Cookies and other site data" and "Cached images and files."

  6. Click "Clear now."

  7. Close and reopen Edge.

Opera:

  1. Open Opera.

  2. Click the settings cog from the left-hand menu.

  3. Under "Privacy and Security," click "Clear browsing data."

  4. Set the time range to "All Time."

  5. Select "Cookies and other site data" and "Cached images and files."

  6. Click "Clear data," then restart Opera.

  • Mac

Safari:

  1. Open Safari.

  2. Click "Safari" in the top left menu, then select "Preferences."

  3. Go to the "Advanced" tab and check "Show Develop menu in menu bar."

  4. Close "Preferences," then click "Develop" in the Safari menu.

  5. Select "Empty Caches."

  6. Open "Preferences" again, select "Privacy," then click "Manage Website Data."

  7. Click "Remove All," then "Remove Now" to confirm.

  8. Restart Safari.

Google Chrome (Mac):

  1. Open Chrome.

  2. Click "Chrome" in the top left menu and select "Clear browsing data."

  3. Set the time range to "All Time."

  4. Select "Cookies and other site data" and "Cached images and files."

  5. Click "Clear data," then restart Chrome.

  • Mobile Browsers

iOS – Safari:

  1. Open "Settings" and select "Safari."

  2. Scroll down and tap "Clear History and Website Data."

  3. Tap "Clear History and Data" to confirm.

  4. Close all browser windows and reopen Safari.

Android – Chrome:

  1. Open the Chrome app.

  2. Tap "More" (three vertical dots in the top right).

  3. Select "History," then tap "Clear browsing data."

  4. Set the time range to "All Time."

  5. Select "Cookies and site data" and "Cached images and files."

  6. Tap "Clear data," then restart Chrome.

For other browsers:

  1. Go to "Settings" and select "Apps" or "Application Manager."

  2. Find your web browser in the list.

  3. Tap "Clear Cache."

  4. Exit all browser windows and reopen the browser.
