Log files contain important trading terminal information, including order execution details, errors, indicator installations, and server connections. These logs can help analyze trading activities, and if you contact support, you may be asked to provide them.
Desktop Terminals:
Launch the terminal.
Click File → Open Data Folder → Logs folder.
Each log file is named according to the date, e.g., "20180101.log" for 1 January 2018.
Logs for Expert Advisors are stored separately under File → Open Data Folder → MQL4/MQL5 → Logs.
To send specific log lines:
Open the Experts or Journal tab.
Right-click on the desired line and select Copy.
Paste and send the copied information via live chat or email to [email protected].
Android Terminals:
Open the Journal from the top-left menu.
Select the dates, tap the letter icon, and send via email to [email protected].
iOS Terminals:
Go to Settings → Journal.
Switch between dates as needed.
Copy the log file text and send it via live chat or email to [email protected].
