As online fraud, scams, and cybercrime become more sophisticated, we have noticed an increase in fraudsters impersonating Taurex representatives to gain access to personal data and funds. At Taurex, protecting our clients’ security is our highest priority.
You may receive legitimate communication from Taurex representatives, but Taurex will never contact you via text, email, or social media to request your account security details or your personal identity information (e.g., registered email address, trading passwords).
To prevent unauthorised access to your account:
Do not leave your device unattended while logged into your Personal Area (PA). Always log out or lock the screen.
Do not ask others to create a Taurex PA in your name.
Do not share personal identity documents (e.g., ID card, passport) with anyone.
Do not disclose verification codes or support PINs to others.
Do not transfer funds to an unknown person’s bank account, payment card, wallet, or crypto address.
Do not open links from unknown sources, as they may contain malware or phishing scams.
Do not share the mobile number and email used to receive verification codes with others.
Additionally, never share your passwords with anyone and remain cautious when receiving requests to change your password. Fraudsters often appear professional and may use Taurex branding (logos and slogans) to appear legitimate.
If you suspect fraudulent activity, contact Taurex support immediately via live chat or email [email protected].
Important: You can terminate other active sessions if you suspect your account is logged in on another device without your authorisation
