How can I avoid becoming a victim of fraud?

The most important step is to never respond to any request for personal or account security information. Fraudsters may send fake texts, emails, or social media messages (including messages via Telegram) that appear to be from Taurex. Use the following guidelines to determine whether a message is genuine:

Taurex will never:

  1. Claim that suspicious activity has been detected on your account.

  2. Send you a link to a website and request sensitive information (such as your trading password).

  3. Offer unsolicited financial opportunities or investment schemes.

If you receive a suspicious message, you must verify the legitimacy of the message using the guidelines above.

If the message is fraudulent, block the sender and delete the message. Leave non-official Taurex channels on Telegram, WhatsApp, or other messaging platforms.

If you receive an unexpected call from someone claiming to be from Taurex and asking for personal details, hang up and block the number.

If you have shared sensitive information (such as your trading password), change your password immediately.

If you are unsure about a message’s legitimacy, contact Taurex support directly for confirmation.

Once reported, Taurex will continue to monitor and take action against fraudulent activity to protect client security.
