What is revenue share?

Written by Carly

Revenue share in the CFD industry refers to the percentage of a broker's revenue generated by a referred client that is paid to a partner or Introducing Broker (IB).

Example: If a referred client opens and executes trades, and the broker generates $100 in revenue from those trades, with an agreed revenue share of 30%, the IB would receive $30. In this example:

  • Broker's revenue: $100

  • Agreed revenue share: 30%

  • IB's share: $30
