Closing open orders while markets are closed: If you attempt to close an open order during weekend hours or during a trading instrument’s daily break, it will fail to close until the market reopens.
Visual bugs and/or connectivity issues: If there are visual bugs or connectivity problems, it may appear as if an open order won't close. To resolve this, close your trading terminal completely and reopen it to verify the order's status.
One-click trading preferences: One-click trading allows immediate execution of market actions. If this setting is disabled in your MetaTrader terminal, you may need to confirm the close action. To resolve this, check your trading terminal preferences for one-click trading and adjust as necessary.
Hedged orders: Hedged orders can prevent order closures due to margin requirements. When one side of a hedged order closes, it may affect the remaining order. If the margin for the remaining order is insufficient, it may prevent closure. To resolve this, ensure you have enough free margin to close the order and try again.
